Student at the painting school at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, the visual arts schools.

Based on the expressionist tradition, Cadan’s work is expressively consistent with the painterly practice of German and American artists from the 20th century. Using both figurative and abstract approaches, Cadan rethinks the essence and history of modern painting and image-making. His careful exploration and practice reflect a thorough historical engagement and introspection into the traditions of painting, highlighting the inherent challenges and opportunities it presents.
